Brisbane Murri activists will rally this Saturday at 11am in Queens Park, Brisbane City, to demand justice over the death of Mulrunji, the Aboriginal who was killed by a policeman two years ago at Palm Island, off the Townsville coast in North Queensland. People will then march Musgrave Park, West End. The rally was announced on the Socialist Alliance Brisbane blog.
Some of the speakers will be Alec Doomadgee (Mulrunji's cousin), Sam Watson, and Les Cooper, who lost his brother in custody.
